As if Chance the Rapper wasn’t already known for his uniqueness and creativity, his latest visual to “Same Drugs,” the single from his 2016’s Coloring Book album, which was free by the way, has now dropped. It seems Chance changed his mind on the video release and publicly thanked Facebook for coming through with the last-minute change.

Though Chance has decided to stay independent, he did sign a streaming deal with Apple for his album and fans are wondering when he will cave. In an Ellen interview, Chance shared he’s held off from signing because he wants to be an example to young artists to strive in their craft and simply enjoy it.

This video specifically is getting attention for its simplicity and the flapper girl muppet sitting by his side on the piano. Puppets seemed to be a theme with Chance as he had several muppets on stage during his 2016 tour. Perhaps he’s sticking to the kid theme- you know, the Coloring Book? Let us warn you the video contains simple sets, no dancers, no twerking or bottles popping. It does however feature Chance’s “3” hat which represent his third project out. The visual was directed by Jake Schreier and is ranking views on Youtube by the minute. Chance proves you don’t need a lot, to say a lot. Check it out here.
